Finreg never sleeps, but it sometimes visits its family

Greetings FinRegRagReaders! Next week promises exciting developments in the FinRegaverse as the CHOICE Act is expected to get a floor vote and the Treasury Department is expected to release the first of its regulatory reform reports.
Which means of course that I will be out of the office (sad emoji). I will be speaking at the Cato Summit on Financial Regulation in Charlotte on June 6th and then taking the family on a trip (NOT a vacation) to visit the great-grandparents.
However, all is not lost! My colleagues will be manning the barricades, ready to provide analysis of all the finreg developments. And thanks to the wonders of modern technology I may even be able to take a vacation from my trip to do some sweet, relaxing work.
Have a good week, and I will see you on that Holiday Road!
Update 1: Day 4 — Child #2 diagnosed with double ear infection and conjunctivitis. So not a vacation.
Update 2: Day 6 — Child #1 and I have also been diagnosed with conjunctivitis. It has also rained heavily for three straight days. This would not be my CHOICE (see what I did there?) of how to spend time.
Update 3: Day 7 — Wife now also diagnosed with the ‘junc.
Final Update: At the end of it all almost everyone had some combination of conjunctivitis, ear infection, or upper-respiratory infection. The lesson is to never leave the office.
